Letters filled... Clint Eastwood’s Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) is widely held to have successfully managed to show the battle of Iwo Jima from a Japanese perspective. As movies ‘based on true stories’, they reach far greater audiences and become important instruments for the social construction...
